10 Point on a Scrape Line … Midwest Whitetail

Midwest Whitetail is a incredible web show with a prostaff throughout the midwest. This fine 10 point is taken on a scrape line in Wisconsin. This is a great example of an effective method for tagging mature whitetails. Setting up cameras over scrapes can identify which scrapes mature bucks are using. If there is any sign that the buck is using these scrapes during daylight hours its time to move in and harvest a mature whitetail.

Check out this Midwest Whitetail Great Lakes Episode to see how effective this tactic can be.

Quick Break Down:

  • Pre-rut activity
  • Scrapes (preferably scrapes worked during daylight hours)
  • Trail Camera
